Readers’ Choice: Best Books of 2012

Your votes are counted and the results are in! In this week’s edition of BookPageXTRA, we announced the Readers’ Choice: Best Books of 2012—your 25 favorite books of the year.

With more than 3,000 votes cast in the survey, one thing is clear: Gone Girl was far and away the #1 book of the year. The other reader favorites range from debut historical fiction to suspense, from memoirs to a certain erotic romance novel that has blown up this year’s bestseller charts.

View the full list of reader favorites on BookPage.com. Did your personal #1 book make the list?

Also: Congrats to Gayle from Tonawanda, NY, who won 10 books in a genre of her choice! (If you’re curious, she’s getting mysteries.) Thank you to everyone who voted in this year’s survey.
