If you love BookPage, there’s a very high chance that you are a) a voracious reader and b) a big supporter of libraries. If that’s true, then—good news! HarperCollins’ library marketing team is running a BIG contest in the September issue of BookPage. You could win one book for your personal library and five books for your local library! Enter here.
You could be one of ten winners (!) to choose from this selection of books:
And When She Was Good by Laura Lippman
The Cutting Season by Attica Locke
A Father First by Dwayne Wade
The Mirrored World by Debra Dean
Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk by Ben Fountain
The Hollow Man by Oliver Harris
Into the Darkest Corner by Elizabeth Haynes
Visiting Tom by Michael Perry
The Orchardist by Amanda Coplin
Telegraph Avenue by Michael Chabon
The contest runs until September 30. Don’t miss your chance to support your favorite library with free books! Which book would you choose for yourself, and which five would you give to your local library branch?

Thanks for the chance to win books for my library! I would choose The Mirrored World for me, since historical fiction is my favorite genre. For my library, it would be the books by Chabon, Lippman, Coplin, Perry, and Harris.
The Orchardist by Amanda Coplin is my choice. And, I would love to win books for my library.
I would choose “And when she Was Good” for myself! but when I was done, I would donate it to my library!
Books for the library is a wonderful idea. I would like Laura Lippman’s book since I’ve read several of her novels and found them all very interesting. Any of the other books on your list would be excellent choices for the library, I believe.
The Orchardist by Amanda Coplin for me and the rest for my local library, then I’d go back and borrow those.
I would love The Orchardist for myself, and I would pick Telegraph Avenue, The Cutting Season, And When She Was Good, Mirrored World and Darkest Corner for my library (so that I could check them out and read THEM, too!!
the orchardist
And When She was Good for myself! All the others donate and yes, I can check those out to read also. The library where I live is struggling so I am trying to help them in any way I can. I’m actually headed there now to check out more books to read!! Thank you for the opportunity to win these books for such a wonderful cause.
And When She Was Good by Laura Lippman
The Cutting Season by Attica Locke
A Father First by Dwayne Wade
The Mirrored World by Debra Dean
Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk by Ben Fountain
**these 5 for my library,
and I would choose Telegraph Avenue, it sounds very intriguing!
I chose Visiting Tom for myself and for my library because I’ve met Michael Perry and he tells great stories, picking up on the nuances of life in a small town. I’d go to my library and check out the other 4 books and pick up a copy of Book Page while I’m there! In fact, when I moved here, I pestered the library staff until they made Book Page available at our library. Thanks for the chance to give back to my library!
I would probably choose Into the Darkest Corner for myself and any of the others for my local library. They all sound great. Our book club is doing the Orchardist in November!
I’d like to win A Cutting Season but having a chance to win 5 books for the library is wonderful.
I would pick And When She Was Good by Laura Lippman for me and
The Hollow Man by Oliver Harris
Into the Darkest Corner by Elizabeth Haynes
Visiting Tom by Michael Perry
The Orchardist by Amanda Coplin
Telegraph Avenue by Michael Chabon for my library. It’s small and could use the boost. The staff is great though!
The Orchardist looks like one I would like to own. for the Library: Lippman, Locke, Perry, Fountain and Haynes–which I chose somewhat randomly because they all look like ones so many could enjoy.
I would keep The Orchardist for me and donate Telegraph Avenue and any other three (they’re all good!) to the small-but-awesome Fairview Heights, Illinois, library.
I would like to read The Orchardist–any of the others would be great for our library!!
I would keep telegraph avenue for me. I would probably see what they had first of the others and what was in high demand to help them out best.
For myself I choose Visiting Tom
For my library I choose Orchardist, Cutting Season, Into the Darkest Corner, A Father First, Telegraph Avenue
Hope to win in order to support my library! A much beloved place!

Great opportunity to support one of the libraries in my area. Thanks!
I would donate all of them to the library and then check them out.
I would love to read The Orchardist. I already read Into The Darkest Corner and I think that my library could use copies of the above two books as well as the Lippmann, the Perry, and the Chabon books.
I would love to read The Orchardist by Amanda Copland…and donate any five of the list to the library.
The Orchardist is on my list of books I want to read. My library has been a great support of local teachers and I would like for them to get new books.
The Orchardist would be my choice. Would borrow the rest from the library.
Love this contest — If I win, could these books please go to the Kent County (Delaware) Bookmobile: And When She Was Good by Laura Lippman, The Cutting Season by Attica Locke, The Hollow Man by Oliver Harris, Into the Darkest Corner by Elizabeth Haynes, The Orchardist by Amanda Coplin.
Oh, and for myself: Telegraph Avenue by Michael Chabon.
Thank you!
