Monday contest: Custom fall reading for YOU

We’ve been talking for months about the books we’re looking forward to this fall, and the season is finally here. Our bookshelves are already groaning under the weight of all the new September releases.

 

To celebrate, this week’s contest offers TWO lucky readers a chance to win a specially selected package of 3 fall books tailored to your interests. Just tell us what your favorite genre is in the comments. See below for more details—and good luck!

TO ENTER: Tell us what your favorite type of book to read is (biography, mystery, etc.) and the editors of BookPage will come up with three fall books you’re sure to love.

CONTEST DETAILS: Two winners will be chosen by random.org from among entries received by 5 pm CST on Friday, August 31. Each winner will  receive copies of three (3) books, to be determined based on their entry. Prize must be shipped to a North American address, and Rhode Island residents are not eligible. Thrillers excite me since you get to see inside the villain’s mind and try to piece together the pieces of the puzzle while getting a sense of what not just the good guy is like, but the bad guy as well.

    Historical fiction, by far, are my favorite. I love them because I often learn about events that have taken place during history that I was never aware of. After reading a good historical fiction, I often go out to do research of my own to find out what was fact vs. fiction- fun! My latest read, “Kincaid and the Legal Massacre” by Curtis D. Carney, which is about the Northern Fur Seal and and how people engaged in a struggle to restrain the massacring of fur seals while trying to rescue their wives from freelance kidnappers – can’t believe this stuff actually went on.
