I’ve read some at the Beaches in NC,listening to the ocean and plan to read some by the running creek behind a cabin in the Blue Ridge Mts(if I don’t fall asleep again)great summer reading to all.

Most of the time, I’ll be reading in the car. With the carpool for the kids in camp and our long drive to deliver our oldest to college, I’m pretty sure that’s where I’ll be spending most of my time….sigh….
I try to squeeze in an hour of reading a day while riding on my recumbent stationary bike or listening to an audiobook while walking on the treadmill . I don’t know that I’d be able to convince myself to exercise if I couldn’t read while doing it.
I just got back from vacation, so the rest of the summer, I’ll be reading at home, hopefully on my porch if the weather’s nice.

I will be reading all over this summer! I am a teacher, so I have the ability to travel during the summer months. I will be taking “old school” books and my Nook throughout New York State. I will also be reading on my couch, on my bed, outside relaxing on my newly built porch, and quite frequently, I find myself while on the treadmill or riding a stationary bike. I need to distract myself somehow!
Wherever I am, I read. By the water would be grand. Iced tea in hand would be grander.

As a high school English teacher, I get to spend a great amount of my summer reading. So far, I’ve been reading in my backyard, but in a couple of weeks, I’ll be reading in Seattle when I attend training for the Educurious program. I need some books to take on the plane

I have so many different places that I’ll be reading this summer! Chatham, MA during our family vacation, Paul Smith’s, NY during a much-anticipated camping trip, Barrington, NH on the deck of my mother-in-law’s summer lake rental, and Portsmouth, NH on my own back deck with my dogs at my feet.
I have re-arranged my bedroom to fit a “fainting sofa” by the window so I can see to read. It’s so nice to recline and read!

Another weekend trip will have be reading in Yellowstone. And our family vacation will get me reading one the beach at Banks Lake and in our hotel at Grand Coulee Dam, Washington!

I have the best spot ever to read. I have a nice swing on the patio, the greatest. I spend many an hour reading out there. I read in the early morning atb first light and I read into the evenings until dusk. I love my patio. With a fountain to make it more relaxing and with a nice midwestern breeze to keep things cool. I am always up to reading a good book.
I’m planning on taking a solo trip to the Redwoods to read under the shade of beautiful trees and the trickling of a gorgeous creek.
Also, I expect to read in abundance on the deck of a cruise ship sailing to Alaska. Pray for calm seas.

I read wherever and whenever time allows me. On the weekends, I start my day on my front porch reading, then at the end of the day curl up on the couch to read before calling it a day. During the week, I read to and from work as I take the bus, so I have ample time to read, but still curl up on the couch at the end of the day.

With my ‘faithful’ Kindle, I am ever so grateful to be able to read anywhere and everywhere. Mostly, though, I will be reading, as I usually do, in my bed before I go to sleep.

I cruise book blogs & sites for my next book fix. It’s an enjoyable addiction with so much variety. My summer reads include Anne Perry, John Sandford, P.D. James, M.C. Beaton, etc….All genres from westerns, fantasies, memoirs, new releases.
I’ll be reading on the screened porch overlooking the orchard at my ranch in the middle of nowhere. Books help take me away from the heat and isolation here. The nearest town is 40 minutes away (and it doesn’t have a bookstore).
I will be reading and relaxing on one 0f the many beautiful, sandy beaches on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
I’ll be reading whenever I get the chance, wherever that might be.
I’ll be reading indoors until summer fianally arrives, probably the end of July- I live in the Pacific NW! Actually I’ll be reading where I always do- in any available spot during any available time.
I’ll be reading “Maine” and trying to finish “Parallel Lives – A Social History of Lizzie A. Borden and Her Fall River.”
I’ll be reading in the car (waiting to pick up teenagers), in the swing on the back patio (until it gets too humid/hot), or lying on the couch in the tv room ( while hubby watches tv) .
I’ll be reading in the coolness of my home, relaxing in my favorite armchair, lost in the 18th century France & in the 19th century Colorado territory. But these books are only the beginning of my travels back in time.
I’ll be reading out on my patio and also in bed at night.

My favorite place to read all my books is on the front porch with the breeze from the South, sipping on a mint julip, and the old dog by my side!

I have a pool float with a cupholder and outdoor speakers, so I’ll be floating along in my backyard reading (I even got a waterproof cover for my ereader).

I just read Spring Fever by Mary Kay Andrews and Summerland by Elin Hilderbrand. Loved them both.
