I’ve been a fan of the Pioneer Woman for a long time—even before I went to visit her on her ranch in Oklahoma. I have tried out many of the recipes from her blog in my own kitchen—from delicious chicken tortilla soup, to fig-prosciutto pizza, to restaurant style salsa—and the dishes have wowed many a taste tester. And there have certainly never been leftovers!
If you’re like me, you discover a lot of recipes on blogs . . . but there’s nothing better than actually cooking from a real-live cookbook. (Let’s just say I’d rather splatter a page with batter or olive oil than my keyboard!) With the Pioneer Woman’s new cookbook, on sale March 13, you can find all of the recipes mentioned above, plus many, many more. The cookbook is also packed with step-by-step photos and gorgeous scenes from PW’s ranch.
This week, we’re giving away one copy of The Pioneer Woman Cooks. Here’s how you can win!

Love Deb Perelman’s blog Smitten Kitchen and that little boy of her’s is adorable!
Definitely Ree Drummond! She’s so funny and talented in many areas. Plus, I am a “city girl” married to a cowboy, so I can empathize with her situations. I just wish I could be as humorous! I’ve got her first cookbook and would love to have her second.
Favorite blog to book…. Ree Drumond’s “Black Heels to Tractor Wheels” possibly to be replaced by Jill Smokler’s new “Confessions of a Scary Mommy” due out soon. Someday to be replaced by my very own…..
Would love a copy of the book. I am trying to be a better cook for my 11-yr old who has been a vegetarian for 2 yrs. Her father and I are not so I am being pushed to the limit to be creative, Thanks

I like 168 hours – a time mgmt blog.
Definitely Ree Drummond (The Pioneer Woman). I think she is funny and love her recipes!
I’m really not aware if some of the authors I enjoy began as bloggers. But, it’s certainly something to aspire to! Thanks for the great giveaway! The Pioneer Woman is the best!
Ree’s blog is the first blog that I’ve followed faithfully. I found it a couple of years ago while searching for a new way to cook potatoes. I stumbled upon her Crash Hot Potatoes and I’ve been a fan since. I’ve made several recipes from her first cookbook. Ree’s Chocolate Sheet Cake is a family favorite.
I have to say The Pioneer Woman since she is the only one I know. This is a great giveaway and would love to have a copy of her cookbook!
I honestly don’t read blogs. Maybe Bookpage can give us all some good links……. but would appreciate winning this cookbook. It sounds great.
I haven’t seen a cookbook yet, but the recipes found on Suzanne McMinn’s blog “Chickens in the Road” will make you run for your mixing spoons.
My daughter introduced me to Pioneer Woman via her cinnamon rolls..worth every calorie…then I started reading her blog and found a woman I admired and respected because of her love for her family and beautiful photos..I am looking forward to meeting her in Dallas on her book tour to have my books signed. Not only does she have cookbooks with easy lucious recipes but a novel she wrote about her romance with her husband “The Marlboro Man” so so sweet..
Can’t wait to read the new Pioneer Woman cookbook! It looks wonderful. Always enjoy trying out new recipes. Besides reading Pioneer Woman, I also enjoy the blog: http://threemanycooks.com
Thank you for the contest!
Love, Love, Love the Pioneer Woman! I wish I were her! haha! Actually, I try (minus the cows). Anyone who can take the time to write and take care of a house, on top of homeschooling is awesome. I homeschool 3 kiddos and it can be so time consuming, but the most rewarding thing ever! My husband writes novels and I know the time that is involved with that. He just published a fiction thriller – Money Clip (which SO ironically is about a Dallas Medicare Fraud group). So, the fact that Ree can do so much is great! Good for her!
I’m a big fan of Ree as a blog-to-booker, but I really like Cathy Erway, whose blog became the book The Art of Eating In. She’s a great writer and a good inspiration to value home-cooked meals!
I’m also going to say The Pioneer Woman. I’ve made a recipes from her first cookbook.
It sounds like I am taking the easy way out but truthfully, I have been following The Pioneer Woman’s blog (aka Ree Drummond) since I first found out what blogs were.
I would LOVE to win her book. My friend got it for Christmas and sends me the “OMG you have to try this recipe emails since”.
Maybe NOW I can send them to her:-)
