Trailer Tuesday: ‘Pure’ by Julianna Baggott

Julianna Baggott‘s Pure is like a combination of all those awesome YA dystopian novels we’ve been reading — but for adults.

There are two sides of society after Pure‘s apocalypse. Pressia survives out in the ruined world, her body damaged and fused like so many others. She’s on the run from a new-age military. Partridge is a Pure and lives within the Dome. His body is perfect, but the search for his mother drives him out in the world, where he and Pressia collide.

The book trailer from Hachette reveals the contrasting worlds . . . and the odd heroine with a baby doll head fused to her hand:

Are you still riding the dystopian novel wave?

  1. Weird. I was just googling new dystopian books. I’m about to start Divergent. Adding Pure to my list. Looks like I’m still riding the dystopian wave.

I love dystopia – I have put Pure on my list!
