Trailer Tuesday: ‘The Bird Sisters’ by Rebecca Rasmussen

The December Book Clubs column features the new paperback edition of Rebecca Rasmussen’s debut The Bird Sisters, a “poignant and powerful” novel that unfolds the story of two sisters with a tragic, eccentric childhood.

Writes columnist Julie Hale, “this novel about family, memory and love will resonate with fans of literary fiction.” There’s nothing like a book with resonating characters to spark a book club discussion! (Click here to read our review of the hardcover edition.)

The book trailer from Crown books touches on the 1940s Wisconsin setting:

One Response to Trailer Tuesday: ‘The Bird Sisters’ by Rebecca Rasmussen

  1. oh, i heard about this book before! Rasmussen is a very talented writer. I think i’ll buy this book, it looks like one of the books which you are supposed to keep on your shelf – not computer. I like it that the plot is about sisters – there is nothing more important than the bond of family.
