Trailer Tuesday: ‘MetaMaus’ by Art Spiegelman

For the bibliophiles and self-declared bookworms on your gift list, we’ve assembled a fantastic list of literary gifts, all of which provide fresh perspectives on classic works.

One of our selected lit gifts is the follow-up to Art Spiegelman‘s 1986 Pulitzer Prize-winning postmodern classic, Maus, the phenomenal graphic novel of World War II (with Nazi cats and Jewish mice).

MetaMaus: A Look Inside a Modern Classic, Maus is “a scrapbook of sorts that explains how the masterpiece came to be.” It includes a DVD with interviews, pictures and historical materials.

Take a walk through it in the trailer:

Be sure to check out the rest of the books in our literary books feature:

Do you have anyone on your list who would love one of these literary delights?
