Monday contest: Wolves and eternal love

Enter to win a signed box set!

Maggie Stiefvater has captivated both teens and adults with her Wolves of Mercy Falls series, in which Grace, a teen girl, falls in love with Sam, a boy who lives part of his life as a wolf. In the final book of the trilogy, Forever, we find out if they can be together . . .

Forever comes out tomorrow. Today, we are giving away a box set that is SIGNED by Maggie Stiefvater! The set includes Shiver, Linger as well as Forever.

Trisha interviewed Maggie at ALA in New Orleans. During the conversation, Maggie told us about leaving behind her characters (she has mixed feelings, understandably)—and about the incredible impact she has had on readers’ lives:

Maggie also gave us a preview of her newest novel, The Scorpio Races, which comes out on October 18. (Think: Magical water horses and some very atmospheric cliffs.)

TO ENTER: Leave a comment and tell us the name of your favorite series. Bonus points if it’s an epic love story—and especially a paranormal love story.

CONTEST DETAILS: The prize is one signed box set of the Wolves of Mercy Falls trilogy. One winner will be chosen by random.org from among entries received by 6 pm CST on July 15.

Want more from ALA? Watch video interviews with Jay Asher, Lauren Myracle, Francisco X. Stork and other fascinating authors.

ETA: Congrats to our winner, Veronica! She’s a huge fan of Tamora Pierce’s Tricksters series and Immortals Quartet. Thank you to all who entered this week’s contest!

Contest is now closed.

  2. Nichole says:

I love the Hunger Games trilogy:)

  3. laurie blum says:

    Steig Larsson’s trilogy

  4. Janet Nydegger says:

I am not big on series books. They always seem to end at the most exciting part, then you have to wait a year for the next book. I have enjoyed Susan Wiggs Lakeshore Chronicles because each book stands alone even though the families and characters continue in each book.
I also enjoy the “ladies of Covington series” and I used to read Jan Karon’s Mitford series.

  5. Angela Antrim says:

    Twilight series

  6. Leanna Morris says:

I am not too crazy about series…it’s generally too long a wait between books but I do like Dee Henderson’s books. They can be read as a series or individually.

  7. Denise moore says:

    Christopher Moore’s vampire trilogy. It’s a love story – I love Abby!

  8. Carol M says:

I liked Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series.
