This will be my first American Library Association conference, and I am seriously pumped about meeting librarians, authors and book publicists from around the country. After reading Lynn’s report about last year’s Newbery Caldecott Banquet, I am counting down the days until I get to hear the acceptance speeches from this year’s winners.
If you subscribe to Reading Corner (see today’s issue) or BookPage Insider (see last month’s issue), you already know that we’re giving away eight seats to the Newbery-Caldecott-Wilder Banquet, held Sunday, June 26, in New Orleans. The contest ends on Sunday, so I wanted to give you all one final notice.
