In this week’s edition of BookPageXTRA, we got nosy about your reading habits. Specifically: Have e-readers won you over? Or are you in the ink-and-paper forever camp? Somewhere in between?
We want to hear from our blog readers, too . . . fill out this survey about how you read, and we’ll report back on The Book Case with the results in a couple of weeks.
For the record: Although I’m a blogger and love multimedia platforms, I’m still reading on dead trees. But ask me again in May after my 10-day trip to Argentina. I may cave after trying to fit 15 books in a carry-on suitcase.

I received a Nook Book Color for Christmas. I haven’t downloaded any books yet, because I have too many real books yet to read!
It is comfortable to hold, but I did get a light accessory for it.
I received a Nook for Christmas and have been reading some classics on it. I did get a book from the library yesterday and have been reading that too. Love the Nook, especially for reading in bed.
Love my KINDLE 2 that I have had for a while. It is quite frankly the best gift I have ever given myself!!! Don’t walk,…….RUN to buy a KINDLE!! Simply the best !
i have a Kindle, i like it a lot, but i have a bunch of books made the old fashioned way, so i read both. I was never into smells or feeling up a book, so it was nothing for me to buy an e-reader, i simply ran out of space and the e-reader took care of that problem.
I will always have real books — but I love e-readers for portability. Agree with Barb about the superiority of the Kindle, although the iPod Touch isn’t too shabby.
I have both the original and the color nook. And I continue to read both library books in hardcover and my collection of paperbacks. I love the e-reader for vacations (the classic is much better in the sun) but I continue to use the library primarily for new releases. I have downloaded books from the library, but they don’t have the selection yet to persuade me to go only digital.
I was running out of bookcase space for all my hard copy books. I received an iPad for Christmas and downloaded a book first thing on it – before I did any of the “apps”. I love it! It’s backlit so I can read in a dark room, or not.
