I liked Jazz Fly 2 by Matthew Gollub. It’s a bilingual book that centers around jazzy insects and it even came with a great audio CD.

My favorite picture book to read to children is “The Famous Nini” by Mary Nethery. I liked it so much that I bought a copy for the nearby elementary school library and the children love it. It is set in beautiful Venice and the colorful illustrations bring the story to life.
