Pardon the cliched post title, especially since it’s not really accurate: no one “lets” anyone in the BookPage office eat cake. If something sweet arrives, there’s no waiting for permission—as demonstrated today when the cake delivered to celebrate the long-awaited launch of our new website arrived.

Wow! The new website looks great! Book Page is one of my favorite monthly periodicals. I grab it at my local library.
Alas, I don’t go to an office anymore because I have three kids at home…but our favorite treat is white cupcakes with colored sprinkles! And an occasional cherry pie from Grandma’s special recipe.
YUM. Anything that can be described as “Grandma’s special recipe” gets my vote. My grandmother makes the best pies.
