This book, Nilsen says, will help you understand "what makes pets tick" (note that's not "what makes pets get ticks"). And she's right. On our daily strolls with the BookPage mascot, we always see the same snarling cur. Now we just smile and say knowingly to ourselves, "Aries." Often vomits? Could be a Cancer. Likes soft bedding? Most likely a Taurus.
