Loveswept celebrates its 14th anniversary this month. Fayrene Preston has been writing for the line since its inception and celebrates the anniversary by giving us another Damaron Mark story: "The Heiress". Yasmine Damaron sees software wizard Rio Thornton's company as the beginning of a whole new Damaron empire. She is taken aback when Rio won't even consider her offer which would make him richer than sin. After several days of wrangling they strike a rather odd deal. He will agree to consider her offer if she will agree to consider sleeping with him. To his tremendous surprise, she not only considers his proposition, but she throws herself into the endeavor. Unfortunately, Rio has no intention of honoring his end of the bargain. As Rio opens his heart to Yasmine he finds others have been waiting a long time to share in his life. Fun, heartwarming, sexy -- what more do you need?
