Review by Jodi Israel
We begin our romantic journey this month with a teaser from Julie Garwood.
The Clayborne Brides is a new series timed to arrive shortly after the Hallmark Hall of Fame presentation "Rose Hill" based on Garwood's "For the Roses (Pocket Books, $6.99, 0671014986)." This trio of books tells the story of the Claybourne brothers. The first book, "One Pink Rose," is the story of the youngest brother, Travis. When Mama Rose asks him to escort mail-order bride Emily Finnegan to her husband he can't refuse. Garwood hits her mark with a feisty, sassy and capable heroine. This novella, though complete, serves only to tease. But have no fear: "One White Rose" arrives in July, "One Red Rose" in August. The series will culminate with "Come the Spring" in mid-November. Watch this space!
