Almost two years ago, the first edition of this book introduced a way for slightly intimidated and non-technically oriented investors to dip their toes in the sea of security analysis, 1990s style. At the time I tested the various technical analysis tools offered by the author's Telescan service. They introduced me to some nice stocks, and also to valuable tools with which to find others. This new edition includes free software, free online access for 30 days to the Telescan 3.0 system, a discounted Windows upgrade, and other discounts to newsletters and seminars. The authors promise that "whatever your level of interest in the stock market, you should find something of value in this book." I would have to say "amen."
