A bright new star makes her debut in April. Valerie Taylor's The Mommy School is a terrific turn of the tables. Janet Resnick is a consummate career woman, but when her sister and brother-in-law die suddenly, she finds herself in possession of three very real children. She's at a total loss. With three calls to Poison Control in the space of one afternoon, the Mommy School looks to be her last hope.
Gib Coulter raised his siblings from the age of 18. When he shows up at Janet's door, she doesn't look a gift parent in the mouth. Under Gib's live-in guidance, Janet learns to take pleasure from her nieces. When she begins to see Gib as a man underneath the apron, he has to decide where his future lies.
This story appeals from its premise to its conclusion. Again, the children are very real rather than a plot device. Watch for Valerie, she's got the touch!
