When romance becomes suspense
More and more romance authors are writing either romantic suspense or pure mainstream fiction. This alarms many who fear it signals the end of romance. On the contrary -- it simply indicates that these authors are multitalented. Just as we read books other than romances, these authors want to write something different as well. Authors like Nora Roberts, Tami Hoag, and Margot Dalton are all spreading their wings and flying past the genre.
