Review by Michael Pellecchia
If you've determined to come face to face with technical analysis, welcome to the ideal introduction. The author, host of CNBC's popular Tech Talk with John Murphy, calls it "visual" analysis, because charts are the basis. His third book is ideal for the beginning technical analyst because Murphy's experience in simplifying this daunting discipline for television viewers is put to good use. And the book offers an accompanying CD-ROM which contains Wall Street Analyst SE charting software.
The first two sections of this book, plus the CD-ROM software, are good enough reasons to attract novice visual investors to this informative package. Some of the later material would be of primary interest to mutual fund investors.
