Review by Michael Pellecchia
This is an introduction to financial markets by the editorial staff of the financial alternative to the Wall Street Journal -- Investor's Business Daily. That paper, founded in 1984 by William O'Neil, is growing rapidly and was at the forefront of investors' increasing use of charts to improve investment performance -- even before personal computers were used for investment as widely as they are today.
This book is a particularly good one for an intelligent high school student, or a college student starting out.
Adding a little extra value is an offer from the newspaper for 10 days free in your initial subscription, plus a booklet and audio tape helping the investor to use the newspaper and its founder's investment approach.
Michael Pellecchia writes about business and finance books each month He can be reached at michael_pellecchia@bookpage.com.
