Review by Sukey Howard

The jury won't be out for long and the verdict is -- funny and right on. The case in this case is David Fisher's Legally Correct Fairytales: Bedtime Classics Translated into the Legalese, offered here in a multi-voiced production.

Echoes of O.J. resound in the trial of Goldilocks as the defense sets out to discredit Detective Smoky, a bear and a "fur man." Prince Charming, a sexual harasser after all, seems to have a serious foot fetish, and as the prosecutor vehemently states, "if the shoe doesn't fit, you mustn't acquit."

Humpty Dumpty sounds very much like Mel Brooks as he bemoans his scrambled state, and Snow White, who only hires short white Caucasian males, may be indicted in a job discrimination action.

These courtroom "dramas" are guaranteed to leave you laughing -- and thinking about some the more absurd aspects of our litigious leanings.
