Planning, planning, planning. It's a cardinal rule of successful investing. Now that rule is extended to the online component of your investing efforts. An author with pretty good online credentials combines planning with surfing to come up with a new book you might want to use if you're just getting to know the Internet.

Paul B. Farrell has been in the Internet financial information business a long time. Currently he's CEO and Editor in Chief of Wall-Street-News, an Internet broadcaster. In this book he narrows down his selected resources to "The Investor's Top-25 Navigators On-line and On the Internet."

Farrell's unreserved praise goes to Telescan, the integrated, one-stop system which combines fundamental and technical stock analysis for the sophisticated investor. He also showcases services from Fidelity, Vanguard, and others which target the mutual fund investor.
