Companies will need to
1) focus strategically,
2) organize around customers,
3) look at every unit of the organization as a business, and
4) link everyone in real-time information systems.
As you see, there is a familiar reengineering ring to this. Dent's genius is to articulate these new values for any size business, and particularly for the entrepreneurially minded individual. An entrepreneurial climate will indeed be the logical outgrowth of many changing trends in the workplace. The author also lists and defines qualities for high performance in the workplace.
Harry Dent has a way of making outstanding results seem possible through observation and understanding of specific types of change and evolution. This, his second book, is just as energizing as his first.
