This book is based on the premise that you might want to be an informed consumer before the next tax rules are decided. Then you could vote on the basis of information rather than sentiment. Judging by this book, the current tax proposals are impossibly complicated and there is no simple way to present them. The book contains a handy list of the names, addresses, and phone numbers of the 104th Congress, and the summary material within may make you want to write to your congressman.
