Boy is no ordinary dog.

Boy tells all in his tale: his vagabond days after he is abandoned on the side of the road, his adoption by a kind couple ("the management," he calls them), the perils of hygiene ("it ranks with kennels, obedience classes, rectal thermometers, and supervised celibacy as one of man's great mistakes"), and advice for the young dog ("Do not bring friends of the opposite sex home").
Edward Koren's shaggy drawings add to the mix. In all, hilariousness reigns, and Boy ever wins the day.
