In Book #1, The Perfect Horse, Sally Lorimer must sort out her reasons for wanting a horse as well as pick the perfect one from all the available horses, in spite of what others think she should have. The story takes places in Scotland, and a bit of mystique is added by a crystal unicorn that seems to bring good fortune--a fun book to read. The series continues Sally's riding career on her dapple-gray Willow, and that of her friend Thalia on a fiery roan, in another hardcover title Jumping Lessons. Two more Horseshoes will follow soon.
