Whether it's making "Homemade Wine from Water" for Easter or "Truman Compote" for a Fourth of July picnic, Martha has all the answers.
My favorite dish, and the most aesthetically pleasing, is the "Jell-O Aquarium Mold." Envision if you will red fish gummies gingerly arranged around the base of a golden aspic. Therewithin float goldfish crackers, like creatures suspended in amber. The authors, of course, supply directions for homemade gelatin (one small cow needed).
