Review by Michael Pellecchia
The Right Mountain by Jim Hayhurst, Sr.. You have to have the right mountain to climb, Jim Hayhurst learned after the tragic death of a colleague on the climb up Mount Everest. Hayhurst writes movingly of his expedition and the life lessons it taught him--such as know who you are and be able to modify your behavior in keeping with your core values. The book ends with exercises which attempt to lead you to your core values. The author is a Canadian advertising man who is dedicated to helping others get the most out of life. As an executive himself, his experience and line of thought is particularly relevant to business leaders and team members.
