Find It, Buy It, Fix It by Robert Irwin. Good discussions of financing, equity sharing, and other aspects of fixing up houses are clearly presented here and encouraging to someone considering starting out investing in a fixer-upper. This helpful book includes a guesstimator's sheet, cogent discussion of quick fixes, negotiating deals, and other practical issues. The author is a veteran real estate broker and investor and one of the best writers on buying houses.
