Secret orders from the top authority of the United States: Topple the coming war efforts of the strongest nation in the world--regardless of the odds.

It is 1904. China is politically unstable, with "Mighty Russia" and "Untried Japan" vying for her territory. War between the three seems inevitable, and President Roosevelt knows it. He sends a lone representative, Captain Matt Hunter, USMC, into the field with secret orders to influence the outcome of the conflict, whatever the odds. Hunter, his secrecy suddenly compromised, finds himself being advised by leaders of each side. His self-assurance shaken, Hunter knows only one thing with certainty: his actions will determine the balance of power in the Pacific, and greatly influence a world careening toward war.

Bill Frash is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley an d served in the U.S. Marine Corps as naval aviator, retiring after twenty-two years of service with the rank of colonel. He currently lives on a ranch in California with his wife and four dogs and enjoys deep-sea fishing in Mexico.
