Review by Sukey Howard

Nathan is 12 years old, good looking, well-mannered but, right now, he's covered in mud and blood and on the run. He's just killed a prison guard in a suburban Virginia juvenile detention center. John Gilstrap's premier thriller, Nathan's Run, convincingly read by Tony AwardÐwinning actor John Glover, picks up speed as Nathan, terrified and alone, tries to keep ahead of his pursuers. The DA and other higher-ups would like nothing better than to have this child, whom they consider a cop killer, gunned down. There's also a sadistic hitman on his trail, just a little more clever than most of the police. And there are a few who believe that he's really a maltreated, scarred young boy. You'll be engrossed and pulling for Nathan all the way.
