Give a young friend a copy of Emily Dickinson's Poems for Youth, and you'll have given a gift likely to be treasured for a lifetime. Editor Alfred Leete Hampson collected poems that Dickinson wrote for her niece and two nephews, who lived next door. This is real poetry, of course-accessible but challenging-all wrapped up in a handsome volume with by black and white illustrations by Thomas B. Allen.
