Review by Sukey Howard

James Patterson writes thrillers that really do thrill and chill, and his latest, Hide and Seek, is no exception. It's an unusual would she/could she, did she/didn't she? And, if she did, was she justified? Super successful singer/songwriter Maggie Bradford shot her maniacally abusive first husband in self-defense, and her second husband died quite suddenly when the two of them were alone. Now she's accused of murdering her third, a handsome soccer star turned movie actor, a man who is playing games with her, games that may prove deadly for both of them. Terri Nunn, a singer/songwriter herself, reads and does it very convincingly; you feel Maggie's fear, fury, and her frustration.
