Dinosaur books bound to be mega-hits

Reviews by Alice Cary

Dinosaur-mania is a phase many children, especially boys, hit at one time or another, perhaps the equivalent of girls' horse-craziness. A lot of parents prefer dinosaurs over horses--at least they don't have to wrestle with the "I want my own" announcement. Actually, dinosaurs are a lot of fun. They manage to be mythical and real at the same time, while the mystery surrounding their disappearance and the history of bone discoveries are fascinating stuff.
